MORE THAN 5,000 RHINOS HAVE BEEN POACHED IN SOUTH AFRICA SINCE 2010. ONE RHINO IS KILLED EVERY 6 HOURS. RHINOS WILL BE EXTINCT IN THE WILD BY 2024, IF WE DO NOT ACT NOW.

Our Team

At The Australian Rhino Project, we are focussed on ensuring that all our resources are focussed on getting the rhinos into Australia where they can be safe and be located in an environment which encourages breeding.

We have a team of volunteers who provide their services on a voluntary basis. We are always keen to have new volunteers become involved with our project. Everyone involved with The Australian Rhino Project understands the urgency of the situation and all their efforts and energy are directed to bringing the rhinos to Australia out of harm’s way.
